When someone replies to a users comment, or performs certain other actions, an email notifications goes out. It can be customized.
Notification headers / Email subjects[edit | edit source]
The $3 in each message represents the page name where the action was performed.
- The subject sent out when a user replies

- The subject sent out when a user comments on a watched page
- MediaWiki:Notification-header-commentstreams-comment-on-watched-page
